Simply put, this is a great game. It is full of fun and silliness like all the Lego games and this one follows all 1-4 Jurassic Park films including the latest 2015 film Jurassic World. There's a huge variety of levels including the iconic T-Rex car chase, hiding from Raptors in the kitchen, uncovering ancient bones and fending off dinosaurs in every shape and size. There's lots of characters to choose from (including the dinosaurs themselves) with lots of extra items to collect throughout the game. It's really quite fun stomping around as a Stegosaurus or fighting as a T-rex. The game is 1-2 players and there's an easy-to-use map to guide you around the open world park.
The MC was likable enough, but inconistent, waffling between whiny and focused. Kind of got annoyed with how much he continued to be surprised by everything. I know that is probably realistic of how someone would actually behave there, but that didn’t make it any less annoying to read. He is constantly in fights and sometimes he wins through some skill or by luck, but you never seem to know when it is one or the other. Definitely not worth $9.99, and will not buy the others until the price is reduced.
The opening scene shows Wade Wilson, the superhero Deadpool (Ryan Reynolds) in a cab, bored in the backseat. He slides up front to chat with the cabbie, Dopinder (Karan Soni). Deadpool asks Dopinder about a picture of a girl he has in his car, and Dopinder says she was his girlfriend until he lost her to his cousin. Dopinder then takes Deadpool to the middle of a bridge, and Deadpool stiffs the man for cab fare.
